Katy Couple competing for a wedding from the TODAY show! Vote for 'em!

Christopher Dudley, and his fiance, Porsha Burton, are currently being featured on the Today Show's segment "Today throw's a Wedding". Four couples are competing for a wedding to be held on and paid for by the Today show. The couples compete for weekly prizes followed by audience voting for their favorite couple. One couple is eliminated each week. Chris and Porsha have made it past the first elimination but this Houston couple needs your vote to continue on in this competition. You may vote once from every computer in your house or work and may text once from every mobile device you have available. Voting opens Wednesday at about 9:00 am and closes Friday midnight EST.

Some of you will recognize Chris's name as he grew up here in Barker's Ridge and graduated from Mayde Creek High School. Wouldn't it be great to see this local boy get married on national TV? You may also have seen Porsha and Chris on our local Channel 2 news last week!

For voting by computer go to :

Or text "1" to 46833 (at no additional cost)

Thanks for your help and stay tuned weekly for results! Only 88 votes separated the bottom two couples last week so every vote counts - feel free to pass this email on to your friends!
